Hello fellow deviants. It's been a long time since I've visited the site, let alone posted a journal entry. Forty+ weeks to be exact. I've been back in Iowa since February, my daughter is now 3 years old, I will be turning 26 in April, I'm in college full time and about to start working a second job if all goes as planned. I like to keep things interesting. I'm also dating again, which is fun but different. It takes some time to get used to dating again after a divorce. You get so used to a person knowing everything about you and knowing everything about a person that you almost forget that dating means getting to know someone new all over again. Luckily, I'm dating my fellow deviant (poetryeffect) and friend of almost ten years so there's not a lot of "get to know you" required there.

In other news, I sold my Canon Rebel Xsi. I miss it dearly but for the time being I've bought a Nikon. I'm not sure If I like it but that may be because I don't really know the settings yet. I think I'm always going to be a Canon girl but I'll give this Nikon a shot and hope for the best. I haven't done a lot of photography lately anyways. I just haven't "felt" it sort to speak. Hopefully this winter when the earth is coated white and it's the first time I'll see it in years, I'll suddenly experience motivation. Keep your eyes on my page and I'll try to remember to update it more! PROMISE
